Information that reaches us

Sending the enquiry form gives us the fields you fill in. The domain, your full name, the company and a work email are required; a phone number, a topic and a message are up to you. The request also carries the network address of your device; we look at it solely to spot abuse.

Reading these pages leaves no cookie of ours in your browser. There are no analytics, pixels or advertising tags on the site. Like every web host, ours records basic request logs for a short time.

What it is used for

We use it to reply to you and, when you decide to buy a name, to prepare the terms, the invoice and the transfer. It is never sold, rented or traded, and nobody is signed up for a mailing list.

Cloudflare Turnstile

A Turnstile check sits on the contact page so that spam bots cannot use the form. To decide, it reads technical signals from the browser; Cloudflare handles that under its own privacy terms. No other page loads it.

Service providers

Cloudflare serves the pages and relays each enquiry into our mailbox, which is kept by our email provider. When a sale goes ahead, the escrow company and the registrars on each side of the transfer receive the details they need for their part, under their own terms.

Retention

An enquiry that goes no further is erased within two years. For a completed sale, correspondence and the invoice stay on file for the period tax and bookkeeping law asks of us.

If we wrote to you first

Our notes go to companies whose published details make a particular name look relevant to them. A reply saying "stop" ends all contact from us, about that name and any other.

Access, correction and deletion
