What you pay, who holds it, and when it moves
A purchase from us has one price and one route for the money. This page answers the questions finance teams tend to ask before they approve it.
The figure
The figure covers the name and the move
The price we give you is what you pay for the name. No buyer commission is added, and moving the name to your registrar is part of it. The escrow company charges its own fee for holding the funds; the written terms say who pays it, before you commit to anything.
What finance asks
Common questions
Can we pay over time?
For larger figures, yes. The escrow company runs a payment plan, and the name moves once the last instalment is in. The number and spacing of payments go into the written terms.
How do we pay?
By wire or card through the escrow company, in US dollars. The escrow services we use accept payment from companies outside the United States.
Why not pay you directly?
Because then you would be trusting us to deliver after being paid. With escrow neither side has to take the other's word for anything.
Is there an invoice?
Yes. We issue one to your company for the agreed figure, and the escrow company provides its own record of the transaction.
Can the figure change?
Not after we have put it in writing. It holds while you get the approvals you need.
Tax treatment?
That is a question for your accountant; we do not advise on it. We will supply whatever paperwork they need from our side.
